Работаем с картинками(jQuery)
imgAreaSelect — отличный jQuery плагин для работы с изображениями. Так сказать, еще один плюс в копилку к jQuery.
Плагин создает привычный для пользователя интерфейс с помощью которого можно выделять отдельные части изображения, а что делать с этой частью решать Вам.
Если Вас это заинтересовало ниже я добавил живой пример ;-)
Для справки: плагин весит всего-ничего — 8кб.

Только что проверил в Opera 9.27, IE7, IE6, Safari, Firefox — все прекрасно.

upd: обновил страничку – в опере 9,26 заработало
Я собственной персоной, дык он у них там обфусцирован и завязан на ихний монструозный фреймворк…
