Работаем над выпадающими списками
Буквально пару недель назад открыл для себя очень интересную библиотеку для кастомизации выпадающих списков — , но меня очень огорчил тот факт, что эта библиотека была написана на mootools, которому я не очень симпатизирую, так как активно использую jQuery.
И вот позавчера вышла вторая версия этой библиотеки, и на радость, она была переписана под jQuery. Так что это событие определенно стоит отдельной заметки.
Select Box Factory позволяет стилизировать списки на любой вкус и цвет, вставлять в списки url, картинки и что душе угодно, а самое главное там есть поиск(!) — это очень нужная функция для больших списков, например списков городов или стран.
Так же есть функции сортировки, изменения данных в списках, группировка элементов списка и прочие вкусняшки.
Так что смотрим демки, скачиваем, встраиваем в свои интерфейсы ;-)

Ужасная вещь, нет, честно!
Самое главное, чтобы кастомизированный контрол повторял поведение обычного. А тут этого нет.
мне нравится, только вот второй выпадающий список глючит в Опере, когда счелкаешь чтоб он выпал, и наводишь на список, то весь текст тамвыделяется для копирования.
возможность поиска в списке это супер:)
насчет склонения «слова», согласен с ololo. это ж просто подправить.
Блин ну сайт у них сделан, когда только зашёл (ещё полностью страница не загрузилась) и увидел высоту скрола, понял что букв будет много… а потом всё как схлопнется. Я в шоке. Лучше б они выводили страничку после загрузки.
Вообщем-то неплохо! Очень радует, что это версия для любимого jQuery!
хм, уж очень все карамельно как-то, что ли. есть asmselect – плагин к jquery для мультиселекта – очень красиво реализован, я еще в июле у себя писал – и мультиселлект в нем хорошо реализован. и кастомизация под дизайн аккуратно сделана… впрочем, это имхо

А нет ли у вас на примете АЯКСового выподающего списка, чтоб при начале ввода на сервер слался запрос (с уже введенным тескстом) и потом ответ сервера показывался бы в выподающем списке с тем что б пользователь мог выбрать из предложенных вариантов? В принципе здесь тоже можно прицепитсья как показано в примерах на сайте в методе addChoicesLoad(), но надо еще прицепитсья к событию ввода. А я в jQuery не силен, да и не все так гладко может срастись.
Видел что-то подобное, но использующее, к сожалению, prototype а не jQuery:
А нет чего то более похожего на стандартные выпадающие списки, только вот с возможностью фильтровать. Этот плагин мне не понравился по тому что инициализируется как то по тупому.
Точнее что все элементы списка находятся в JS, а не в теле HTML. Для поисковиков не катит.
