Построение графики на javascript
Raphaël — небольшая библиотека(20 килобайт) для построения векторной графики на веб-сайтах.
Она использует SVG и VML в качестве базы для создания графики. Учитывая то, что каждый созданный объект — DOM объект, то при помощи JavaScript обработчиков можно легко изменять их свойства и действия.
Так что связка Raphaël + jQuery будет давать огромные возможности для разработки.
По заверениям автора, библиотека работает во все основных браузерах: Firefox 3.0+, Safari 3.0+, Opera 9.5+ и Internet Explorer 6.0+, а так же от себя добавлю Chrome.
С помощью этой библиотеки можно создавать по настоящему потрясающие вещи, например, такие как: разворачивание текста, динамические изображения, интерактивные графики и т. п.

У меня ноут с железками: корка T5600, 1gb DDR2, видео i945. Бразер FF 3.0.3, ОС: Debian – ни единого тормоза не заметил.
А как сделать чтобы вставить 2 картинки с отображением? Когда я попытался, т.е вставил 2 кода подряд:
у меня отображалась только 1-я, а вторая была без отображения.
Как по мне, так полезный только второй пример с графиком, для остального не смог придумать адекватного применения.

Отличные примеры! возможно применения немного, но бывает как придавит, что нужно именно это :) так что в архивчик положить стоит!
Даже если сразу возможности не очевидны (в конце концов это только несколько примеров) – сама возможность делать подобное на JavaScript чрезвычайно радует. Поскольку такое даже на серверной стороне не вдруг сделаешь.
P.S. Недавно разбирался с Image API для Google App Engine – плакал. Такая, извиняюсь фигня. Как ни крути, а ни одной идеи в голову не лезет, настолько тривиальные возможности. А тут… определенно что-то можно изобрести, если не полезное, то как минимум красивое. Пипл любит бесполезные, но красивые феньки :)

Понравился график с анализом. Работает плавно и красиво, такое видел только на флеш.
Библиотека нужная, только местами сложно данные свои вставлять – это относится к путям.
