Замечательное и ну очень оригинальное решение на Jquery.
С помощью этого плагина буквально одной строчкой кода, можно будет превратить любую картинку в самый настоящий пазл. Вес плагина, для его функциональности небольшой — 9 килобайт.

Вы спросите: А зачем собственно нужен этот плагин? поиграться?
— Мыслите шире! Мне, к примеру, сразу пришла мысль использовать небольшой пазл как капчу к сайту.
jqPuzzle замечательно работает в Firefox 1.5+, Internet Explorer 6 + 7, Opera 9 и Safari.
На сайте автора этого плагина можно найти огромное количество примеров работы с jqPuzzle, так что проблем с его освоение точно не будет.

прочитал рсс, представил такие фишки с выемками и выступами. А тут пятнашки, ну все равно прикольно

последний (мой ) рекорд 130 ходов за 105сек, могу предоставить картинку, токо пости с линками долго проходят модерацию

для, капчи нужно сервером разбивать картинку, и то можно програмно подобрать решение.
Зачем? Картинка разбивается самим jQuery.
Можно даже так делать: Сервер генерирует простую капчу, С помощью jQuery эту капчу разбиваем в пазл, пользователь собирает и вводит.
Но вариант капчи просто с собиранием мозайки(без ввода) мне больше нравится.
но для этого нужно использовать миш, а отрывать пальцы от клави это дополнительный труд, думаю проще перейти к полю с помощью ТАБа, и ввести, но идея хорошая сама по сибе
)) такую капчу надо повесить на бесплатную регистрацию в яндекс каталоге

Ох, и откуда такие идеи. Такую капчу машине решать гораздо легче человека и программу взлома напишет смышленный восьмиклассник (неужели сложно проверить стыковку краев?).
Подскажите, пожалуйста, как установить плагин на сайт (английский знаю, процесс не понятен).

Что то у меня не получается такую штуку на сайт поставить, выдаётся только картинка, но не пазл. Какие требования к хостингу?
