Этот прием работает на основе javascript библиотеки jQuery, и, как ни жалко, это не будет работать в браузере с отключенным javascript.
Выделение нужного элемента происходит при помощи затемнения остального контента(и, при желании, мигания), то есть пользователь будет видеть только нужный элемент.
Этот скрипт, как заверяют разработчики, работает во всех браузерах. Так же хочется заметить, что это решение очень продуманное, особенно понравилась поддержка скролинга в нужное место на странице.
