Сегодня наткнулся на замечательный сервис для создания поиска по сайту — Sikbox. Сервис настолько понравился, что я решил непременно сделать небольшую заметку-обзор.
Этот сервис дает возможность создать ваш собственный поиск в мастере, всего за три шага, либо просто вставкой кода(о чем я написал в самом конце).
Чем же этот поиск так хорош?
- Этот поиск сделан на javascript, что позволяет использовать его где угодно, даже на пресловутом narod.ru.
- Очень удобный интерфейс.
- Возможность изменять оформление поисковой формы.
Как выглядит этот поиск?
Если вы еще не знакомы с живым поиском, то выложу для вас скриншот этого поиска.
То есть это поиск в рамках одной формы, с использование ajax для передачи данных.
Быстрая установка поиска
Для того что бы установить поиск на ваш сайт без использования мастера, можно просто напросто вставить следующий код:
<script src="http://sikbox.com/magic.js?d=http://chernev.ru&r=3&s=grey" type="text/javascript"></script> Параметр d отвечает за адрес сайта, r за количество выводимых страниц, s за тему оформления.
На этом я хочу закончить этот мини-обзор. Так же хочу заметить, что этот сервис реализован на поиске от Yahoo и jQuery.
Что-то не ахти оно работает. Протестировал несколько сайтов и никаких результатов.
Вот если бы Вы описали как установить на сайте поиск от Google вписанный в дизайн сайта вот это было бы очень полезно!
У меня отлично работает, возможно ваши сайты просто еще не проиндексированны.

Такое ощущение, что ищет только по тайтлу страницы, но не по ее содержимому. В сафари тупит нещадно.
Ошибаетесь. Поиск идет по всему тексту сайта.
а толку с такого поиска ? разве что для тех кто не хочет заморачиваться с программингом.
как по мне для LS есть более удобное решение с использованием JQ

Самое главное что «вредный» заказчик не видит, что поиск происходит через удаленный сервис!

Интересное решение, вот только для свежих сайтов не подходит, пока их проиндексирует -(
Как я понял, они используют Yahoo! BOSS, так что если не работает — вас нет в их индексе.

Лучше бы выложил скрипт или исходники по такому же живому поиску, использующему БД ;)
а как сервак грузит? если сайт большой (больше 1.5 страниц)
Тормозит страшно, под safari совсем завис.
На сайте с кучей страниц работает совсем не адекватно… Жаль =(

Мне нравиться как он работает,но сначала нужно разобраться в этом.На маленьком сайте работает просто отлично, то что нужно.Но если сайт большой с большим количеством информации то начинает немного виснуть.
sikbox.com помер кажется, а я уже в 2-х проектах использовал этот скрипт. Придется не лениться а, написать поиск самостоятельно.
