Делаем свой html5 плеер
Всем привет, сегодня я хотел бы поговорить о html5 плеерах, как вы, наверное, уже знаете современные браузеры уже ввели поддержку html5, который позволяет нам вставлять в документ видео без использования плагинов к браузеру.
В ближайшее время, конечно, можно и не думать о полной замене flash-плееров на онные, но как дополнительный вариант сделать стоит(как уже поступили известные видео хостинги).
На данный момент мне на глаза попался только единственный коробочный вариант html5-плеера, его название «Sublime Video».
Как итог хотелось бы увеличить подборку html5 плееров, как совместно с читателями моего блога, и, конечно, с весьма подкованными хабравчанами, так что жду от Вас ссылок и предложений.
И так, начнем обзор выше названного плеера.
Выглядит «Sublime Video» вот так:
Его поддерживают, как уверяют разработчики, совсем малое количество браузеров.
- Safari (v4.0.4+)
- Google Chrome (v4.0+)
- Internet Explorer с Chrome Frame :)
Зато он имеет отличный интерфейс и не менее отличный полноэкранный режим.
Плеер сейчас находится еще в стадии разработки и в ближайшее(уж надеюсь) время разработчики планируют добавить следующие функции:
- Поддержку Firefox
- Изменение громкости
- И самое главное - поддержку IE в виде замены html5 плеера на flash
Плеер планируется распространять бесплатно для некоммерческого использования, что не может не радовать.
Обидно, что плеер на момент разработки невозможно скачать и по плотнее пощупать, но зато можно лицезреть отличное демо.
На этом, собственно, все - жду от Вас комментарии с аналогами ;-).
У меня обычно на маке притормаживает видео в браузерах на весь экран, а это работает шикарно просто.
На youtube уже работает полноценный html5 плеер в поддерживаемых браузерах. Правда он там грабит mp4 файл и контролы свои использует в табличке, и всякий хитрый код добавляет, так что его embed’ить у себя нельзя.

Не знаю, как у вас, однако у меня быстро выполнялся только сам javascript, а само видео тормозило неимоверно, хотя вроде как весь ролик скачался довольно быстро… И глючит сам плеер немного, пока ролик не прогрузился, бегунок текущей позиции весело шел вперед по непрогруженной части. Ждем релиза.
Мне кажется, пока его использовать бессмыслено. Вот когда новые ункции появятся, тогда да.
В первом случае(в примере автора), я не вижу смысла использовать данный плеер т.к. создается велосипед – полностью перепрограммировали на js весь интерфейс плеера(зачем?!?для красоты???стандартные оболочки подходят к множеству стилей)и создали месиво из кода, а плеер можно вставить в страницу написав 4-6 строк(пример Владимир sketchuper). Этот плеер использует доступные оболочки, но автор(2 плеера) imho допустил неразумность включив в код поддержку IE(IE6 это вообще!!!накой?).Лучший выбор это №2.

Пока html5 и, в частности, тег video работает только на меньшинстве браузеров, да и то не полноценно, без костылей и обратной совместимости обойтись невозможно.
тег video поддерживают FF, Chrome, Safari.IE этот вообще ниче не поддерживает, Opera не поддерживает video, но другие теги и поля форм она поддерживает почти полностью, чем обгоняет остальные браузеры.
Я довольна. А если при добавлении нрвых функций плеер будет так и будет бесплатным,то вообще замечательно.
Показать, к сожалению, пока не можем, но будет красиво, кроссбраузерно, бесплатно, аудио-видео с деградацией во Flash — . SublimeVideo собирается это дело монетизировать, наверняка по схеме, которую использует FlowPlayer.
А стандартный вполне проигрывает, в FF по крайней мере. Правда не хватает пары кнопок, типа, остановки и перемоток. В остальном же вроде без тормозов.
Может и не прав буду, но слишком навороченные, прежде всего будут тормозить, а ведь прежде всего интерисует само видео, а не множество наворотов, часто наоборот мешающие.

Как-то пока глючно, видео не смогло полностью загрузится и прыгает туда-сюда по таймлайну на несколько секунд… плюс соседняя вкладка хрома с видео теперь категорически отказывается закрываться, но это все думаю можно списать на то, что хром у меня старенький, еще четвертый, portable edition
Подождем пока мозила с оперой будут поддерживать плеер
